Por otra parte, la importancia de la  rub\u00e9ola como problema de Salud P\u00fablica radica en los efectos teratog\u00e9nicos que puede producir la infecci\u00f3n cong\u00e9nita, que incluyen desde el aborto espont\u00e1neo o la muerte fetal, al S\u00edndrome de Rub\u00e9ola Cong\u00e9nita (SRC).
