The Alliance aims to promote the use of the SAT>IP protocol throughout the industry, facilitate certification of new devices and develop and improve the SAT>IP standard.

During the last months, SAT>IP Alliance has been working on key topics for the industry such as the extensions of the SAT>IP protocol for CAS>DRM conversion and transcoding. The Alliance also has established a partnership with the company Labwise (www.labwise.fi), an independent testing house, for certifying SAT>IP products.

Over the past years, over 45 industry partners have supported the SAT>IP standard by developing more than 80 different products that are compatible with its requirements.

The innovative SAT>IP technology converts broadcast signals into IP at the reception point using a small server, which may be located in the satellite dish or in the user’s home, and distributes the selected programmes to different IP devices such as tablets, smartphones and laptops. This technology makes it possible to provide high-quality broadcast content more efficiently to all the screens in a home, using pre-existing networks in the building. SAT>IP is a European standard (CENELEC EN50585) compatible with transmissions over satellite, terrestrial and cable networks.

The SAT>IP Alliance is an open forum for all manufacturers, satellite operators, broadcasters and service providers who wish to get involved in developing and improving a key standard for the future of broadcast content distribution in multiscreen ecosystems.

For more information on SAT>IP, please go to http://www.satip.info/

Download press release

source

SAT>IP Alliance founding members, leading satellite operators EUTELSAT, HISPASAT and SES plus manufacturers NAGRA, MaxLinear and Panasonic are

[1

post-5111","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-noticias
https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=1920&resize=1920,998&ssl=1",1920,998,false
https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=150&resize=150,150&ssl=1",150,150,false
https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=300&resize=300,300&ssl=1",300,300,false
https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=768&resize=768,0&ssl=1",768,0,false
https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=1024&resize=1024,1024&ssl=1",1024,1024,false],"1536x1536":["https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=1536&resize=1536,1536&ssl=1",1536,1536,false],"2048x2048":["https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=2048&resize=2048,2048&ssl=1",2048,2048,false
https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=825&resize=825,575&ssl=1",825,575,false
https://i3.wp.com/blogemergencias.es/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/IMAGEN-ESTANDAR-BLOGEMERGENCIAS-ENTRADAS.png?w=590&resize=590,410&ssl=1",590,410,false
admin
["GET
