Los Institutos de Investigaci\u00f3n Sanitaria\u00a0son la asociaci\u00f3n de universidades, centros de investigaci\u00f3n, agrupaciones empresariales y\/o centros tecnol\u00f3gicos en torno a un hospital docente universitario.\u00a0<\/p>\n

La misi\u00f3n principal de los Institutos de Investigaci\u00f3n Sanitaria es realizar investigaci\u00f3n traslacional de la m\u00e1xima calidad, traduciendo los resultados de investigaci\u00f3n al paciente y a la sociedad en general. Conforman el medio perfecto en el que se puede llevar a cabo la traslaci\u00f3n del conocimiento cient\u00edfico a la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica y constituyen una fuente de innovaci\u00f3n sanitaria.<\/p>\n

En la Comunidad de Madrid contamos con 8\u00a0Institutos de Investigaci\u00f3n Sanitaria\u00a0acreditados por el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovaci\u00f3n a propuesta del Instituto de Salud Carlos III tras superar un riguroso proceso de evaluaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En octubre de 2016 entr\u00f3 en vigor el Real Decreto 279\/2016, de 24 de junio, sobre acreditaci\u00f3n de Institutos de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica o Sanitaria. La nueva norma ha supuesto un punto de inflexi\u00f3n en el proceso de renovaci\u00f3n de las acreditaciones de los Institutos, tanto a nivel nacional como a nivel regional, estableciendo criterios tanto de producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica como de impacto en salud. En este contexto, los Institutos abordan nuevos retos que requieren un fortalecimiento de sus \u00e1reas prioritarias de I+D, crear sinergias e impulsar nuevas l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

En la actualidad, los Institutos de Investigaci\u00f3n Sanitaria acreditados en\u00a0la Comunidad de Madrid\u00a0son:<\/p>\n
