La entidad ha financiado desde entonces proyectos como el Instituto de Ciencias Fot\u00f3nicas, el Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de la Universidad de Barcelona, el Instituto de Investigaciones Biom\u00e9dicas August Pi y Sunyer (Idibaps), el\u00a0<strong>Vall d&#8217;Hebron Institut d&#8217;Oncologia (VHIO)<\/strong>\u00a0o el programa CIMs+Cellex de becas para alumnos de bachillerato, especializado en ciencias y matem\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!--[--><!----><\/p>\n<aside class=\"ft-ad ft-ad--roba ft-ad--robaNotext ft-helper-hide-md\"\/><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--]--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!----><!--[--><\/p>\n<p class=\"ft-text\">Como recogen los estatutos de la fundaci\u00f3n, el objetivo de la misma es <strong>\u00abel progreso de la investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica <\/strong>principalmente en el territorio de Catalunya\u00bb. As\u00ed, la fundaci\u00f3n desarrolla la creaci\u00f3n, mantenimiento, subvenci\u00f3n y ayudas a centros de investigaci\u00f3n, tanto de titularidad p\u00fablica como privada. Tambi\u00e9n otorga <strong>fondos econ\u00f3micos<\/strong> a personas f\u00edsicas dedicadas a tareas y proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n, especialmente a los de car\u00e1cter m\u00e9dico.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!--[--><!--[--><!--[--><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><\/p>\n<aside class=\"ft-ad ft-ad--intext ft-helper-hide-md\"\/><!--]--><!--]--><!--[--><!--[--><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><\/p>\n<aside class=\"ft-ad ft-ad--intext  ft-helper-hide-xs\"\/><!--]--><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--]--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!----><!--[--><\/p>\n<p class=\"ft-text\">En 2023, gracias a fondos de la Fundaci\u00f3 Cellex, el VHIO pudo renovar la primera planta de su Edificio Cellex para convertirlo en un <strong>espacio de 900 metros cuadrados\u00a0de laboratorio<\/strong> destinado a la incorporaci\u00f3n de nuevos grupos precl\u00ednicos. Tambi\u00e9n ampli\u00f3 sus grupos de incorpor\u00f3 cinco equipos de investigaci\u00f3n gracias a la entidad.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!----><!----><!----><!----><!----><!--[--><!----><!----><!----><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!----><!----><!----><!----><!--[--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!--]--><!--]--><!----><!--]--><!--[--><!----><!----><!--[--><\/p>\n<p class=\"ft-text\">En 2013, la UB estren\u00f3 los espacios del <strong>Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica Cellex,<\/strong> que acogen los laboratorios del <strong>Instituto de Investigaciones Biom\u00e9dicas August Pi i Sunyer (Idibaps).<\/strong>\u00a0Un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s, con motivo del 10 aniversario del <strong>Instituto de Ciencias Fot\u00f3nicas,<\/strong> se estren\u00f3 el nuevo edificio
